Well you probably know what Argos branches are all about. They’re all basically identical except for the staff. In this case, I’ve found most of them to be pretty rude. But they have a lot of useful stuff hidden away in there, so just take a deep breath and try to bring your blood pressure back down as you leave with your purchases.

I love this Argos! Would give five stars if Ilac parking would be closer or Argos itself would be closer to the lifts. So when you buy a heavy or big stuff, you don’t need to carry long long way to the car. Never had any issues here. Not perfect, but rather normal service. But Argos isn’t a four or five star hotel, so give it some slack :-) What I like here, is computerized catalog and self service stations, which no one uses, so I never get to wait in line :-p

I bought a shredder in the store it was not working they gave me two replacements and they were not working then one of the staff member made false accusation saying that was maybe something I done when I shown her the reviews on the produce then she was shocked and this is the second time I had a problem with the same staff member trying to return something then the manager makes up lies to Protect her staff so if ever have problem should ring Coustmer care as the manger of the store won’t do anything I would and will not shop in this store agen as they are very rude to people and never return the item even tho they give you insurance they try make up stories to not exchange or replace the produce and only way that can get the problem sorted is contacting Coustmer care to make complaint Am really sad and angry and shocked as well as sick with the service I got in the store each time I went in there

If anyone from Argos is reading this could you please pay more attention to detail. The issue being I received at text from you telling me to pick up my order at 6:30pm at the latest. I decided I’d pop in there for 6ish en route to the cinema. The shutters of the shop where three quarters of the way down. Feeling rather miffed that I had been lied to I did a MacGyver and dropped and rolled. «HEY! We are closing!» «You sent me a text saying that you are not so I ain’t going anywhere.» «Oh, I see come on in.» Ordinarily I would give them only one star for that false advertising but the staff are so nice. They could not have been more friendly and they were full of smiles when I left… Oh hold on…

I had no idea what Argos was when I was pointed it in its direction by a friend. I was on the hunt for a cheap toaster. I walked into the store and was a little bit confused. There were desks lined up at the front with huuuuge catalogs on them. Next to the catalogs were these numeric keypads. The process goes like this: you find the items you want, key in their codes and when you’re done you get a list of the items. You give it to the staff, they collect the items from the warehouse and bring them to you. It’s kind of unusual, but it works! They have absolutely everything and since it is all stored, they don’t have to worry about editing stock on the floor. As a result, they can sell everything under the sun without worrying about space issues. You can buy any sort of appliances, furniture, tvs and video games, computers, cameras, toys, personal care stuff like scales and razors, baby gear — the list goes on and on. If you’re looking for something in particular, Argos should definitely be one of your first stops. They have a wide price range for pretty much everything. For example, I found that toaster for 9 euros!
