This is a massive nightclub both in size and fun. It’s very modern; it has television screens above the bar, loads of seating area booths, and a rocking dance floor. Upstairs you will find yet another bar, an arcade area, and the toilets — which are actually brilliant as each cubicle is like its own washroom altogether. You’d need a lot of energy to lap this pub a few times. The smoking area is a huge court, and also has many places to sit and converse around the edge of it. The prices aren’t too bad, and there are a lot of students around mid-​week, but they don’t have a great range of drinks. One thing to note when you’re coming or going is that the road in front of Barcode is very wide and a higher speed limit, so be careful crossing the road as there have been far too many accidents outside this club!

I can only tell you about the junior disco held in Barcode because I havn’t been to the over 18’s. First thing first, don’t believe what they tell you on the ticket, this disco is NOT for over forth years. The average age of people that go is 15 (third years), some younger, and not many older. It’s held on some Wednesday nights during the school holidays. You have to buy your tickets in advance and their 20 euro. The venue is great (your not just stuck in some hall). Always more fun if your with a big group. Nowhere near as posh as Wezz. No alcoholic drinks served and non alcoholic drinks are expensive (around 4 euro)

Barcode is a night club in Dublin that is located beside Clontarf Dart Station and is easy to get to from the City Centre either by Dart or by the 130 bus that leaves you right outside it. By day the club is somewhere where you can just go and have a few relaxing drinks or something to eat with the family. The atmosphere is always fantastic and is a really good day out for the family as they have a play zone for the kids in the gym located beside it and a Dracula museum. By night (Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday) the place is a hopping night club with people that come from all over. The music is always great the staff are friendly and its always a great place for a good night out!

Barcode is located just out the city centre next to Clontarf Dart station, and is one of Dublin’s biggest nightclubs. During the day the club operates as a swimming pool, which is very large and worth a visit itself. The nightclub is very popular throughout the week, and has a games arcade upstairs. The music is pop, top-​40, rock classics, anything that gets the crowd singing and dancing. However you might find the pub to have a younger audience, and I have heard the place being referred to as «the Crèche». But don’t get hung up on this, go in and have a good time!
