Came here today for lunch after reading good review in the paper. Food and service was excellent. Ambiance and music was great and relaxed. It was quiet for lunch but they said they were completely booked out for dinner which is a good sign considering they have only been open four months! We had the duck liver pâté to share and followed it with the phở and crab claws. Everything was really delicious and flavorful! Finished off with the toffee pudding. Really could not fault it at all. Will be back for sure

I often myself in Dun Laoghaire, either after a long walk, or a cycle. Most of the time I end up in one of the restaurants at the sea front. However, this time, we ventured into the village of Dun Laoghaire, on the main street you will find this lovely little brasserie. It’s located above a pub, and you will easily miss the door that leads up to Beni. Keep your eyes open and you shall be rewarded! What an interesting menu! It’s full of french/Asian fusion dishes. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted, I wanted all of it! And it’s very decently priced between 14 and 19 euro. In the end I went for a roast duck dish, which came with asian stir fried veggies and fried potato cubes. My friends were happy with their veggie dish of mushrooms, spinach, cashews etc. Although portions were a bit on the smaller side. The stars of the night were definitely the desserts(apple galette and Chocolate tart) Other plus points were the staff who couldn’t do enough for us. The décor was lovely, clean and bright, yet cosy. I will come back, no doubt about it!
