Located on O’Connell Street near the Savoy cinema, this little coffee place could be easily overlooked. I dropped in today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised, the décor is open and bright, the staff are friendly and accommodating and the food is good. The rolls and hot food look so good and I will definitely be back to try some, but today’s hot chocolate and giant chocolate cookie filled a gap in the meantime!

This was my one of the fav breakfast spots during my stay in Dublin. Even with a handful 1year kid, I was able to feel cozy and to enjoy the tasty foods. Staff was very friendly.

Handy, Tasty, & Healthy little café on O’Connell Street! I stumbled upon this new gem this week and learnt they opened their doors six months ago. The owner and staff are friendly, helpful with suggestions, and quick with your orders so you’re sitting down or out the door timely. I’ve had success a few times now dropping in before 9am for a morning coffee and scone quick as ever. I like dropping back in for a healthy salad bowl around lunch time, and even if there is a que, I’m in and out relatively fast. This is like fast food for those of us who want to eat fresh and smart! Are you a vegetarian? Are you vegan? Do you hate mayo in your salad? That’s no problem, veggie/vegan/no may options are plentiful! The cappuccinos are fab here and taste extra fab with one of their homemade chocolate raspberry biscuit cake bars. For the huuuungry days or just plain ‘ol you want to feel full after lunch, have a look at their quiche, wraps, rolls, or sambo options! Everything on display looks mighty good. Other useful info: –Tables and Chairs on site –Tea, jams, and other goodies on sale in café –Restrooms for customers –Children friendly The only thing I wish Blu Apple would add to their menu would be smoothies and JUICES. I really wish more raw juice shops were available in town(and for a better deal than some of the places that have them now.) I think this fad and meal is growing popularity, so hopefully we will see more soon!
