It’s a connivence store and café all rolled into one. They have a pretty well stocked junk food(donuts!!) section that rival any Newsagents out there. The only problem is that the sitting area is pretty small. We were there around noon and there was really no seat there at all, which is a bummer because I don’t really want to be drinking my coffee and eating a donut at the hospital waiting area!

Unlike the cafes attached to most institutions such as hospitals, galleries and the like the Café Rotunda is well thought out, well stocked, clean and utterly inviting… Lovely. The deli counter is packed with all the usual suspects — jalapeño peppers, fresh onion, peppers, cheese, coleslaw etc… all fresh and tasty and not at all the old sad looking produce I was expecting. The staff too were similarly bright and bubbly and seemed to enjoy their work which really cant be easy on occasion — dealing with stressed out parents-to-be and people to tired and warn that they are making no sense. The only quibble I’d have is that the seating area is a bit tight but you can always take your sambo out to the waiting room if you need extra space
