This is one of the best Indians restaurants in Fairview/​Marino area. Their food has an incredible aroma, their curries are delicious, real food with real ingredients.
The environment is cozy and small, typical of a local restaurant. I tried the sheek kebab as appetiser and it was served in a hot stone dish, for main I had the beef makhani, cooked in butter, creamy sauce and crushed nuts (it was sweet), however delicious. Next time I will try their vindaloo dishes.

We decided to try out Canters Tandoori thanks to a Groupon deal.
(*seems as though the other reviews on here are from prior to the change in ownership)
The ambiance of the place was nice and the food was good… we were limited to the 13.95 menu items with the deal so we had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Pasanda. both something I would order again.
However, the place gets a 3 star review because of the service. The first woman who greeted us and served our food was nice but the male waiter was less than friendly… maybe an off day but would have been nice to see a smile.

this is a lovely restauranat and the staff are great too. i was there with my sisters and mother and the girl who served us was the best, smiling even though we had lots of questions about the food. service was very fast and the food was very good, my steak was cooked perfect with lots of al dente vegetables. i was pretty full at the end of the meal and had no room for dessert.
this place is a bit expensive and i’d only go if i was treating the family or on a date.

Wow, I just love this place. Small, intimate and very nice.
Music was not too loud and no funny smells coming from the kitchen. This is anyone’s dream restaurant.
I had the fillet steak and it was definately the best I have ever had in my life. It was cooked to perfection and all my food came out piping hot — which is more than I can say for a lot of Dublin restaurants.
A bit pricey, and they can try to do something with the veg apart from just steaming them, but I will definately go back!

Go here hungry, leave stuffed. This place has won a lot of awards and rightfully so. They do an excellent early bird menu and they also open up earlier if there are concerts in Croke Park. It’s very roomy inside and there is an upstairs. The last time I was there I had rump steak, divine.
