This place is not only about pasta, they serve breakfast until 2 p. m! If you’re looking for a brunch in clontarf, this the perfect spot. The restaurant is small in size but in perfect size when comes to a Italian canteen, it’s facing the Clontarf strand and you can enjoy a nice view of the sea. When it comes to food, their pizza are delicious, I love their breakfast pizza and the seafood dishes.

Busy spot, with a nice large window looking out onto Clontarf strand. Very friendly service. Lasagna was delicious, and my partners salmon dish was tasty and very well presented. Relatively inexpensive for Clontarf. I would recommend the Bruschetta starter. Not strictly authentic Italian(based on the menu e.g. burgers), but that doesn’t bother me.

Don’t be fooled by the name… it has a tiny bit of pasta, pizza, stir fry and burgers. The fig, spinach, feta and cashew salad was heavenly. The pizza and pasta was ok. I was invited to go here and with three Italians in our group probably not a great idea. All they could say was«pasta con pollo» is not Italian :-))

I first reviewed this restaurant in January 2008(on Menupages) and found it to be good value. I was here last Thursday for a family birthday, we had a large group of 15, and they catered for us as well as possible in a small restaurant. Casa Pasta are child friendly which suited us as there were some very young children with us. That is about the best thing about the restaurant. The food was alright, but uninspiring, and the service was friendly but haphazard(took a long time to get the attention of the waiting staff, and given the small size of the restaurant I found it strange). They no longer have a set menu, and the overall cost at the end was expensive given(and I hate the term) the current environment and the quality of the food on offer. Set menu of € 18⁄19 for 3 courses incl. tea/coffee would be appropriate. I will not be back in a hurry.

Staff are friendly, service is a-ok, prices are reasonable but the food is just so so. Having said that I would go again when the urge comes on me for a pasta or pizza dish of a lunchtime so it’s not the worst place around but could be a lot better.

Had a really nice goats cheese wrap for lunch here. Great sincere service and a lovely view over howth bay(is that how you call it?) Small place with a good vibe. I wonder how it would be for a dinner… Definitely worth a stop if you are looking for a lunchtime snack but I am sure a more serious bite would be something to try out too.

Absolutely divine little restaurant with splendid staff. Not only is the inside décor deep and warm, but it makes you feel at home. My aunt and I always go here for dinner when we meet up, and we’re always 100% satisfied after each visit. I also love the location; the view of the sea is splendid and calming. Last, but definitely not least, the food is bursting with flavour and beautiful aromas; each dish cooked to perfection. And if you’re feeling the need to satisfy your sweet tooth, their banoffee pie is totally the right choice; nicest I’ve ever had!

Casa Pasta, Clontarf Branch, is a homey little restaurant that offers great food and excellant service. The atomosphere is very welcoming and there is a view of the water if you can get a seat close to the windows. Excellant pasta and great prices!
