I found myself here by accident as I had an appointment locally. My mum had been waiting in another café close by but they closed at 4. Why do café’s do this. Crap hours. Anyway not in this café. The place was lovely and quirky. The staff both Spanish were awesome, great banter and the food was fantastic and made on site. I had fresh quiche salmon and spinach which was just out of the oven. While I was there she was making a carrot cake. Everything made on site which is great. My quiche came with a bisg salad, humus and chutney and fresh brown bread. I also had a big mug of fantastic coffee which had a little cake on the side. All in all its my new favourite café and the prices are great by the way. Its a definite plus to Dublin and I wish there were more of these like this in Dublin.

I like the environment a cool little place. But they don’t have hash browns with any of the breakfast items. WTF? You can’t have a restaurant in Ireland that doesn’t serve potato products. And the food was just okay, nothing spectacular about it. Overall a nice place though.

Really lovely little café with a wonderfully friendly owner and lovely fresh home made food and drinks. It’s the type of place that you’d live to bring a book and have one of their lovely coffees and watch the world go by outside.

One of the most cosy and nice cafés in Dublin. Good coffee and breakfast, also spanish food.

Dropped in for a quick cake and coffee with the beau. Quirky atmosphere which is meant to make you want to stay and read a book or chill out for a while. Unfortunately the music was pretty awful, cover versions of 80s ballads and played at a volume that can’t be tuned out. Coffee was good but cakes were dry so not sure if they were baked fresh daily In-house. Not sure I’ll come back again as the more superior Bite of Life café is just around the corner.
