I just ordered here tonight and was incredibly disappointed. Delivery took over an hour and a half with no warning of a delay or anything, I was just left waiting and wondering where my food was. When I finally asked they said it should arrive any time, about 20 minutes after that it showed up. The food was lukewarm and had no flavor. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and my friend had the broccoli chicken, neither of us ate more than two bites of our food. The spring rolls were soggy and the overall, the meals tasted like they had been left out sitting for a long time. I feel like I got cheated out of 25 euros and wasted an hour of my life waiting for sub-par food.

Just had chop chop, normally nice food, but today was very bad, the chicken had bone in it and the noodles had blue thing in it not happy very poor standard. Will not be ordering again.

I am still in search of the best Spicebag in Dublin. I found a random page on Facebook called«the spicebag appreciation society», and got looking through the photos in search for the most popular ones. Chop chops caught my eye with a 10⁄10 rating! Delivery took 40 minutes. It arrived and smelled unreal full of spice and garlic. It looked crispy and full of chicken. But it was freezing. I was too hungry to even ring and complain for more so I had to reheat :(such a shame as it was really tasty. Not too mad on the curry sauce or chicken wings but I did find Chop Chops a lot cheaper than my other Chinese places I order from. The wings where only € 4 for a large tray. The spicebag was € 6 and it was a huge bag that you would share between two. The driver didn’t know where the house was and I had to walk down to the main road to meet him, which I absolutely hate. I’m paying for delivery? Deliver it to my door! He was nice and friendly but. I’d give chop chops another chance but until then I’m still searching for dublins best spicebag!

Just flew in from California; it’s past midnight and I need a bite. Found Chop Chop on JUSTEAT site. Ordered online and food was here in a half hour.(Yes they deliver). Food was delicious and generous portions. Of note, the Spicy Bag A and Korean Noodles(House Special style). Wasn’t loving the Mongolian Beef; sauce too«goopy» for me; maybe I’m just used to a different style. But overall very happy.

Recently ordered black bean beef from here and was disappointed. The food was mediocre in taste and lukewarm. This could have been an off night or a random first experience with their takeaway, but I won’t be craving Chop Chop for some time. More food for thought, if your restaurant is called«Chop Chop», is it wrong to expect the food will arrive within a reasonable amount of time? We waited an hour for it to arrive and the food was tepid. :/

I think this place only does takeaway, I’ve only ever ordered the Malaysian chow mein and the Salt & Chili chicken wings but they’re so good I can’t get myself to try anything else. The prices are extremely decent for the portions and the delivery is fast and food always arrives hot. This is one of the only places that delivers till late(2:30AM I think). Definitely recommend it.
