CiBO does things slightly differently and therefore I applaud them. They don’t have a set menu as such, they cook up whatever they feel like and whatever is in season. I like the idea. It’s all nice, good and honest food, rye breads, vegan options, gluten-free cakes. They offer all sorts of milk alternatives: coconut, almond etc. I’ve had a lovely mango and chicken salad in here on time and an amazing sandwich only recently. The use beetroots to make ‘pesto’! Wait! — Whaaaat? Yes, they do and it works so well with avocado and goats cheese. And don’t walk past the cakes, it’d be a shame to miss out, trust me on this!

Came here for a vegan food night and was really impressed. There was a 3 course set menu with avegan ‘cheese’ styles dips and breads to start, a lasagne style dish with a salad for mains and sorbet and cookies for desert! The main was super tasty, very rich and filling. Had been expecting fruit sorbets but was very plesantly surprised by the homemade coffee and chocolate ones that arrived! The staff are super friendly and attentive which made the visit even more enjoyable! Looking forward to going back!

Totally agree with previous reviews on this page. This is a lovely coffee shop and much needed in this area. The exterior caught my eye as I passed by in the rain and I stepped inside to be greeted by a lovely interior, with quirky décor and a really friendly owner. It was hard to choose from the fragrant array of bakes etc. on display but I finally settled on two scones, one rhubarb and one berry. I’m not sure that«scone» describes them adequately as they were much more substantial than normal scones, bursting with fruit and complete with cinnamon butter and jam, all homemade. Delicious. I will certainly return to CIBO and would urge anybody who experiences the yummy food and charming customer service to write a review and encourage friends and family to visit.

Went in looking for something without bread. Camce out with a triple decker sandwich! Yep. All or nothing. Three slices or none! Was it worth abandoning my one day old anti-bread stance? Hells yes. A club sandwich; bog standard you may think, yet it was anything but. You know, I don’t even know what the extra ingredient was that made it so nice. But dayum. It was tasty. Fresh, fresh, fresh bread. Bacon, lettuce, tomato, chicken. But it had some type of something else. What was it CiBO? Tell us!!! I devoured the full thing in about four minutes. So much for no bread… Other points to note about this newly opened cute little spot in Smithfield: — The owner is very very nice. Go in and just have a chat. Seriously. He’ll make you realise why we should be supporting small new businesses like this. — It is indeed as the name suggests, creative inside. Check out the old TV made into a coffee table. Very cool. — They do other food like soups and paninis. I’m hoping that they’re going to put salads on their repertoire soon so that I can go there more often(and definitely upgrade them to a five star in that case)

Great little trendy coffee shop with amazing food and pretty good value. From the outside it already starts on its quirkyness with colourful tables sitting outside to enjoy the afternoon sun. Inside its really well done for the décor, with bicycle-wheel tables and tin-can lamps. The coffee is pretty standard pricing e.g. espresso is 2 euros. But its actually really nice and comes in massive cups for the black coffee, cappuccinos etc. The food is really REALLY good. You can get a Sandwich/soup deal for 8 euros, and it is amazing. They have daily changes to their menus and specials which sound tantilising. The baked goods are also great, with the brownies, scones(with tasty Cinnamon butter!) ranging from 3 to 4.5 € depending on what you want. But its definitely a large portion and is gone so quickly, you want more! The staff are also really friendly. Don’t expect starbucks i.e. super speedy; this place is to come chill out, read a book, enjoy the sunshine, have a chat. Overall its a new business and its certainly well worth a look!
