Cruisers is pretty new for a pub, but that’s because Tyrellstown itself is only a few years old. It’s a huge place and the upstairs area and balcony are usually reserved for company do’s and birthdays and so on. There is live music on Saturdays and sports on big screens the rest of the week. The barstaff pour a decent pint and are very friendly and chatty but for me Cruiser’s still seems like the new kid on the block. It’s a nice place for a few quiet pints or a mad session, but it’s hard to get into town from here and taxis are ridiculously expensive if you happen to miss the last bus. Still, if you live in the area, Cruisers is a nice enough pub.
