Very small and private first-class lounge located between T1&T2, down the hall from Emirates and right next to Aer Lingus’ lounge. DAA is a third-party lounge and serves SkyTeam airlines, but is also a part of the Priority Pass network if you have it. It’s not a large lounge, but quite comfortable if you get there early and box out some space at one of the low tables with the comfy leather chairs. They have tea and coffee, baked sweet goods, and a very good stone-milled bread which pairs nicely with the exceptionally rich butter they have in their mini-fridge. There is a kids’ playroom behind one glass door, and a small business lounge with 2 iMacs and an HP laser printer behind another glass door, just in case you need to print out something before you fly. What truly set this lounge apart was the friendliness of the staff. Helpful in directions to useful shopping in the 2 terminals, quick to jump and assist with any requests involving the airport at large, and glad to let me borrow an EU-UK charger and fumble around for a power plug behind their desk. After apologizing for being a nuisance, I was warmly told that they were there to help me, and that nothing I’d ask for would be too much trouble. I look forward to coming back through here, and if you have a layover in Dublin this is the only place you should come to.
