On the hunt for a certain miraculous Shriaz (on my Must Find list since our favourite wine shop stopped stocking it) I hopped on the LUAS for a look at Enowine.
This dedicated IFSC vintner (not surprisingly) takes their stock very seriously. The attached bistro features a menu that leans heavily on pairings for structure, but it’s all done so elegantly.
Here, selecting the vintages you’d like a taste of is always done with care. Throw € 20 on one of their in house wine cards and you’ll buy a few sips of practically anything in the shop. With a little assistance I was able to pinpoint a country (Australia) and a region (Victoria) that made wines I loved to taste… but maybe I shouldn’t have been so disappointed to find the bottle I was really looking for wasn’t here.
