Now that I’ve lived in Dublin for a longer time, I now have the knowledge to note that this Eurospar store is seriously overpriced. It is often more than 50% more expensive than the Tesco close by on the same products. On top of that, they have overcharged me more than once — usually on sale items where they did not change the prices on the register. It really shouldn’t be up to the customer to inspect every price on their receipts to ensure the store is doing its job properly. Never again.

This Eurospar is in a handy location and strangely enough for it’s size has a good selection of things I usually can’t find even in the larger Dunnes or Tesco. Their beer selection is also impressive and you can find a few imports here that I have yet to find at any other off licenses in town. The staff are also always very prompt and friendly.

I’ve only ever run in and out of here real quick but of what I’ve seen it’s pretty good. Big and stocked well, in a good location but hard to pull up to in a car.

Eurospar Inchicore is indisputably the leading grocery store in Inchicore Village. Under one roof they manage to incorporate a far-reaching range of commodities including a butcher, newsagents, handily the only post office in this area, fresh cakes, newsagents as well as a whole host of groceries and frozen foods. This really is a one stop shop to cater for your requirements, whether to run errands and send a parcel, pay your electricity bill over the counter, buy a fire log and fire lighters to start a fire at home, buy fresh meat and groceries for that evening’s dinner, do the lotto, withdraw cash or stock up on your alcohol for that night’s get-together, you are content in the feeling that Eurospar will accommodate your needs. The deli counter within this store offers an extensive range of fillings. The friendly staff are on hand to help you build your very own Panini, bagel, baguette or roll. I love to go in and order whatever I am feeling like that day, whether it be a satisfying chicken tikka with salad baguette, chicken with mozzarella and pesto Panini or egg mayonnaise with ham and extra tomato roll. They are in no way tightfisted with their portions and you shall happily come away will a considerably sized baguette for example with 3 fillings for a very economical € 3.50 approx depending on how much it weighs. This Eurospar is also one of the only outlets in Dublin where you can collect coupons for special buy-one-get-one-free pizzas at Four-Star pizza — perfect if you wanted to spend an inexpensive night in with first-rate pizza and a movie. Otherwise this quantity of pizza would be almost too highly priced for some to regard as an option. On a Sunday when Inchicore village is desolate with no shops or cafes open Eurospar sits there, within this otherwise barren landscape with open doors and a whole conglomerate of goodies on offer to gorge on after a big Saturday night out.

EuroSpar is located on Emmet Road, at the corner of Spa Rd. This is the best and biggest grocery store in Inchicore Vilage. They have a small in-house bakery which I feel could be a little better. there is a market for fresh cakes. There is also a butchers/deli-counter, small newsagents and a Post Office in Euro Spar. They regularly good offers so watch out and you may get that Ben& Jerry’s Special for half price. I once couldn’t find my favourite tinned«Marrowfat Peas» and asked the manager could he get them in. They were on the shelf within 2 days!
