I don’t mind the mass-market approach Fields have taken to their jewellery sales, for a mall-based shop like this, the offering does have a bit of sparkle. Much of the jewellery and watches here are big brands priced for the middle class market the Jervis Centre caters to. From Armani and Eco to Flagstaff and Addidas, the sense here is that customers pay(big) for names rather than craftsmanship. Still, the diamonds are nicely cut, and settings are available in a broad selection of occasion styles. The shop offers sweet little earring sets for girls as well as dripping necklaces and big blingers frosting the front window. What I can’t get over is the silence here. With a position that’s practically at the Henry Street entrance, I’d expect a shop as open as Fields to be full or at least bustling, yet every time I walk by the floor is empty and the staff is chatting.

The Fields in the Jervis is well located and has quite a variety of different jewellery and watches for both men, women and children. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is very good.
