Just before Xmas, loads of snow and had to organise a thank you gift for a friend. I rang the Flower Bowl to arrange a Christmassy table centre piece but wanted to include a voucher from Bijou Restaurant as well. Merna, the lady I dealt with could not have been more helpful and friendly. What could have been difficult to organise and pay for by telephone was simple and stress free. And I hear the flowers delivered (within hours, even in the snow) were gorgeous!

As Q pointed out there does seem to be an amazing plethora of florists in this area. Pity the men who live in this area that don’t bring their girlfriends home flowers for Valentine’s, their birthday, or any other occassion!
The shop is bright and friendly and they’ve got a nice selection of boquets to pick up outside the shop. If you really don’t have time to make it to the shop they also deliver locally.

It really wasn’t till I started reviewing for Unilocal that I started paying attention to the types of shops around me and one of the things I’ve noticed is the profusion of florists around. There must be 20 within spitting distance of my home… though I have been asked on several occasions not to spit at shops, it’s just plain rude apparently.
Yet another in the long list of Florists is the Flower Bowl, it took about 5 mins before I got the name, I was having a slow day.
The shop has all the usual suspects, arranged in the usual manner. They must do a bit of their own propagation too as the place has that lovely smell of fresh peat and damp greenery.
