Myself and the Mister popped in here for a quick cup of coffee and slice of cake on our day of thrifting the shops on Camden Street. The atmosphere inside was lovely and I loved the décor. We ordered a coffee, slice of Rice Krispie cake and slice of Caramel Shortbread. It was scrum-diddly-umptious and we’ll certainly make this a regular for the next time we’re in the area!

An «meh» ssort of café… it’s not bad, but it’s not the best either. The service could probably be better, it feels like you’re wasting their time a little bit. I had a orange-strawberry-mango juice that was good, I can’t speak about their food of coffee. There was a strong smell of toilet detergent as you entered the coffee shop… Which I guess is good news somehow, it means that they do clean the toilets, but I does spoil the rest of the experience altogether.

Stopped by for a quick bite after we just arrived in Dublin and so glad we did. Cute little café with the unusual twist of hookas on the shelves. We both had such delicious sandwiches here. The bread alone was beautiful and crispy coupled with the amazingness of flavor inside made them a hit! We both had frappes and unfortunatley they were a little lacking but, the sandwiches well made up for it. Nice little café to check out.

I was quite disappointed with the meal I had here. I went for the full breakfast but the bacon was not bacon??? And the sausage was definitely not sausage??? Coffee was nice and scone was good but what the hell was up with the bacon and sausage here??? They were simply not edible. Unfortunate as it is in a great spot in town.

Very hit and miss for breakfast. I got a nice scone and tea. But my boyfriend got the full Irish and he could not eat it. The sausages and bacon tasted really odd. Not like pork anyway. The waiter was friendly and efficient but when we went to pay the member of staff at the till made a big deal of what we ordered and could have been a lot nicer. Will not be back any time soon.

Great Gourmet Chicken Sandwich. Buzzy atmosphere, very popular lunch trade. Nice to chill out and people watch on Camden Street. Enjoy

Was really excited when I looked at the menu here. All the kind of food I love. Hallumi, steak, chicken, pasta, salads. Everything on the menu is a great price. Starters around 4 quid, salads at 6 and mains for around 8 which is a bargain. I chose two starters, hallumi(I can’t spell sorry) with grilled vegetables and bruschetta. To wash it all down was an apple and carrot juice. I was a bit disappointed to be honest. Thought this would be getting a five star. The bruschetta came on a slice of normal bread toasted and cold-thought its hot usually, well it’s how I prefer it anyway. The grilled hallumi was nice and some of the grilled veg were tasty. But the both were just laced with olive oil and pesto. My mouth feels like I have just had just drank from a bottle of oil. The juice was so tangy that it couldn’t have been pure apple juice. Sooooo disappointed. Booo! I was planning on my head to bring all the gang for lunch. Maybe I will give it another try again with some other food.

Holey frikin’ smokes, I can’t get over what good value this place is! Not only do they do € 2 take-away coffees(even soy coffees are € 2 –major brownie points for that), but they also always seem to do brilliant lunch deals; I got the omlette and coffee for € 6 one day, and then just today I saw they were offering free soup/coffee with any main! I like this joint, and to top it all off, their staff are really friendly too –hoorah!

Cute environment. Nice food. My only complaint really is that you’re not treated quite as nice, more like an inconvenience, if you come in without reservation. Several tables were served before we received our meal, regardless of us being seated first.

I had lunch here recently with 2 others. They had fish & chips, which was the day’s special, I had vegetarian canneloni. The fish and chips were very very pale. The chips in particular were yuk, soggy. Ths canneloni were OK, I suspect it’s uneven. I’d say the italian grub is what you should go for. Nobody asked why the plates were going back so full, not a good sign

Surprisingly open this morning. Atmosphere quiet and easy. The full Irish breakfast I choose for was well presented; it arrived at my table like one could expect from a class restaurant: was a pleasure to look at. The bread for the toast was not your ordinary slice of bread, a welcome change. Only thing I could say the edges were a bit too dark… All in all this place knows how to present their customers with nice food and surroundings to enjoy it in. I will come back, that’s for sure!

Found this place as we were biking by, really hungry, but nothing we could think of sounded good. Until, we saw the sandwiches people were eating outside Fontana Café. They looked amazing. And they were, they absolutely hit the spot. I had the chicken sandwich and my husband the steak. In both, the meat was cooked and seasoned very well and the flavors were perfect. The décor isn’t anything special, but the food easily makes up for it. This is a place that we will be back at again and again. Great find. Great value.
