Froberry frozen yoghurt is quite nice. I like the idea of it being only 75 calories. That is per 100ml serving apparently which I presume is the small cup. I’ve had it at farmer’s markets so have only tried the original flavour-the website mentions other ones. You get a few spoonfuls out of the small cup for € 2.50. Toppings are 50 cent extra and vary-fruit and chocolate/Smarties etc. The last time I got approximately 4 fragments of a Crunchie. To my taste buds, it was not exactly the same as whipped ice cream. It tasted more like yoghurt! Not unpleasant, but it is more tart and doesn’t taste as indulgent. I can’t really agree with the two rave 5 star reviews that have been posted. I don’t think I could be that much of a fan. I note the request to review on Unilocal on their website… My standards may be different after visits to the US where Pinkberry tasted nicer, had more flavours and toppings and was cheaper. It’s nice to try and quite refreshing but using Celtic Tiger pricing I’m afraid. I’ve become more price aware and want to really feel like my € 3 got me satisfaction. If I’m in Dun Laoighre I’ll probably go to Teddy’s and just eat my low fat food for the rest of the day!
