I love the gelato at Gino’s. They have great flavors and taste fresh. I would give it 4 stars, but for a persistent problem my friends and I have encountered there. Count your change if you pay by cash. The servers tend to short change. Or pay by card.

This place teases you in its door with the magnetic smell of gelato. And the taste won’t fail to please either! You won’t just get your standard vanilla, chocolate or strawberry options. With flavours that’d give Ben & Jerry a run for their money, there’s nowhere in town that’s really doing ice cream or gelato the way Gino’s is. My last visit I tried the Jaffa Cake & Cherry Mania medium tub and it was delish! White Bueno is on my «To Scoff» list next. Only the brave should go for a three scoop, it tastes light enough when you’re eating it, but sweet Jesus is it filling. I’d give Gino’s 5 stars if it had a sit down area café style. The tiny spaces means you’re kinda crammed in wondering which way the queue is going.

This is the best ice-cream shop in Dublin without a doubt! The Gelato tastes like heaven and there is just so many interesting and wonderful flavours to choose from! My favourites are the coffee flavour and the latte flavour. They also have some unusual flavours for those who want something a bit different. I prefer lighter and more mature flavours though. Gelato is more creamy and soft than ice cream, but not as much as a 99 cone. They also have a crêpe counter that sells sweet crepes as well as coffee. The staff are very friendly as well. On a sunny day be expected to wait in a nice long line though. The one star deductions is that there is no seating so it’s take away only, and the price which is a bit pricy.

Well what do you know, Gelato in Ireland. Who would ever think it. But since Dublin is a huge place for visitors from all over the world it is a great thing to have. It was a good thing that we stopped in here as well. You do not really think about eating anything cold on such cold and windy days. But, you can get a bit tired of eating all the same type of things the whole time. It is a good place for something exciting. The Gelato shop is beautiful all bright, colorful, and clean. It is just a tiny shop located on a main walkway. It is all open and inviting. We stopped in and had a cup each of some really delicious Gelato. It was a great pick me up for us, since we did so much walking. Tasted just like Italy.

Gino’s = Yummy Whenever I walk by Gino’s I’m so tempted to buy something, no matter what the weather’s like. Their ice cream and sorbet are quality which is much appreciated! One scoop is 2.50euro and as mentioned in the other review it seems expensive. In my opinion you get what you pay for here and you’re paying for quality. One cool thing about Gino’s is that you can sample all the flavours you want before buying, which is a must. The dark chocolate ice cream is divine, kinder bueno is fab and lemon sorbet is nice and refreshing. I want chocolate ice cream now :(

Oh my god… the aroma of crepes wafting out of the door is a big fat YUM! I resisted(took so much willpower but I succeeded). I bought some ice-cream for my Mam, son and niece, one scope each of the gorgeous soft Gelato stuff… the price is the only downfall, € 2.50 is just a little too much for a single scoop with 2 scoops at € 5 definitely wouldn’t prompt me to buy more than the single scoop… I’m mean like that! Tasty stuff!
