Gmale Barbers

Just found my new favorite barber shop. Staff was extremly nice and talented. Oh, and while you wait, you can enjoy the coffee or even play some xbox! :)

I’ve been going to Gmale regularly for about 3 years now. The service I receive each time and the quality and manner of the staff is simply exceptional. I’ve never had any issues minor or otherwise and I’m always happy leaving.
If you go be sure you sign up for their loyalty scheme because you will be back.

Gmale barbers aims to be a modernized barber experience, with some hipster touches, let’s be honest…
There are several options and treatments, mostly relating to grooming, shaving and some ahem, «hair management» as well.
I went to have a haircut, and after being offered a complimentary beverage (water/​coffee/​beer — It was still morning so I didn’t pick the beer) I waited a little bit until it was my turn (they have wifi, TVs and plenty of magazines so you won’t get bored)
Yes, it’s pricier than average (but not as much as Peter Mark and similar places) and a nice experience.

Maybe Im feeling generous due to my complimentary beer but my visit here on a Saturday afternoon was most enjoyable.
Multiple staff in attendance meant very little waiting time. The place had a really relaxing atmosphere as I supped my beer and got my gruaig tended to. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive.
The price is a bit on the hefty side but as L’Oreal say — you’re worth it.
Will be making this my new go to.

Male grooming is something of a new concept, certainly to Ireland, what better place to have this then in Ranelgh, home of Leinster rugby players, its metosexual central.
I had recently slagged one of my mates at length and from a great height for admitting to getting his haircut here, I take it all back Dave! The place is great. Went there for a hot towel shave, it was amazing, was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep.
As well as haircuts and the hot towel shaves they have a range of treatments and waxings available back sack and crack, eyebrow tinting, tanning etc. manicures and pedicures, all with much more masculine names then that. Theres coffee, tea or beer while you wait and play station to keep you entertained, as well as Sky sports on the TV’s beside each barbers chair.
At € 28 for the shave its no Sam’s barbers but you will be guaranteed a good haircut, great service and nice surroundings.
