So this place was pretty grand. Not fantastic by any stretch of the word but it did the job and we left pretty full. The portions are pretty mediocre, there isn’t much of an ambience and it’s just ok really. We both got American style pancakes. I got the Nutella/ice cream combination and my girlfriend got maple syrup and natural yogurt although it looked more like whipped cream. It was pretty nice and we both finished it but weren’t amazed. The coffees were large which was a bonus but didn’t taste the great so we actually left some in our mugs and didn’t feel like finishing it. The waitress couldn’t really understand our order which was another bit of a drawback and all in all this isn’t going to be a spot that I’ll be revisiting in the very near future.

If you want a nice brunch in Dublin town that doesn’t affect your wallet too much, then goose on the loose is your go-to place. Quite cozy and nice place which is really cheap and good value for the food you receive. They serve things like pancakes, omelettes, juice, milkshake, coffee, french toast etc etc… Quite lovely! just a 5 min walk from st stephens green!

Not a bad little place for breakfast but the menu was a bit limited and it was a bit scruffy around the edges. Tbh, I kind of ignored the reviews and just went here cos I liked the name! The service was friendly enough and I had the French toast which was ok but much less tasty than other places I’ve had. With maple syrup, bacon and banana it was only 6 euros though which was great value. This place was a bit studenty if the truth be known! They do omelettes, sandwiches etc — coffee was a bit funky though, a bit tarry like you get with Turkish coffee and not massively what I was after at 930am

Fantastic breakfast and great service. We arrived before they opened and they let us in and opened early just to cook our group breakfast!!! Super cozy and awesome crepes.

Average service and amazing crepes and pancakes. In the Camden street. Close enough to walk through center and far enough for not to be crowded.

This was a nice little find. If i’m being honest I would have walked past this place a thousand times and not gone in. However I was with friends who recommended we go here for breakfast. It is a small Café just off the main street. It probably can only accommodate 20 people at a time. Their main thing is crepes which I did not have but my friend did– and they looked incredibly good. I went for the Irish Breakfast which was really good. It was clean fresh and didn’t have all the grease you would normally expect from a small café. Very reasonable prices also– € 7 for a breakfast. Instead of going to the normal brunch places, I recommend going here and getting a good wholesome meal!

Ok, so my sister and I were visiting Dublin from New York and we happen upon this cute Café on our short search for St. Pats. Wow could we have stayed here forever! Delicious mushroom soup, great Mediterranean sandwich and my sister had this delicious looking Crêpe thing! Our waiter, I think he might own the place, was polite, accommodating, gave great suggestions and frankly I just felt this is what every café should feel like. If I m ever in Dublin, this is where you’ll find me.

This is an exceptional find a place I will miss when I get back home. The goats chees and beetroot salad lives on and I find it hard to walk past this charming café with polite and helpful staff. The Coffee was also up to my taste.

I love that place! It´s cosy, cute and comfortable. I tried the irish breakfast, it was really good for a price I haven’t seen a lot in Dublin. The waiter we had was absolutely adorable ans perfect. An adress I warmly recommend! Frenchies(et les autres): si vous voulez un irish breakfast super bon et dans un cadre agréable et qui change du pub, allez-y! Ce n’est qu’à 15 – 20 minutes à pied de Temple Bar, mais ça vous coutera moins cher!

Yet another Camden Street on the Camden St/Aungier St stretch that just has not gotten enough praise in the Unilocalsphere! The setting here is really cosy and quaint with lots of quirky decorations, not to mention a mini juke box! #cutecutecutecuuuuuute I was bowled-over by what stupendous value the food is here: € 4.60 for a full omelette and two slices of nice bread is definitely a quality deal! They do a 10% student discount too; a nice touch which never fails to put some pep in my step :) Last point: G.O.T.L. offers their little venue in the evenings after they shut to host private functions, with the only charge being the normal bill for whatever food was served, no rental charge at all! It seats about 20 people so would be the ideal size for a nice private dinner celebrating something special!..

Warm, comfortable, laid back eatery at junction of Kevin Street and Wexford Street. Had a tasty well-made ham and feta omelette with 2 slices of fresh toast and soft butter. Perfect lunch. € 4.60. GOTL does breakfasts, hot pots, soups, salads, omelettes, crepes, pastries. Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, I believe. Nice smooth soundtrack. Student discount.
