I just love the staff at Hickey’s Pharmacy on Grafton Street! I have been heading here lately to pick up La Roche-​Posay products and they have a pretty full line available! What else? The staff know the product and help me select what’s right for me and are willing to provide samples if they have them on hand. Hickeys has the feel of a local neighborhood business vs. the chaotic Boots atmosphere just up the street! I appreciate the coziness of it and even if it’s bustling now and then staff members make themselves available to assist!
Also, if you’re a Brown Thomas employee, you get a 10% discount! Just show your card. And, I think they may offer student discounts as well!
This is my pharmacy of choice!

Hickey’s is the only properly all-​inclusive pharmacy in and around Grafton Street. Within its small interior it packs in a chock load of stuff — everything from hair products, an extensive range of makeup, medication both prescription and buy over the counter, women’s wellbeing and sanitation products, baby care, knick-​knacks like cello tape and pocket sized packets of tissues as well as reading glasses (quite steep however with the cheapest costing € 16) and vanity mirrors.
It is however the well-​stocked pharmacy at the back of the shop that provides the real, residing eminence. The exceedingly clued-​up staff are always keen and happily on hand to answer any questions you may have concerning a prescriptions or even to merely pick their brains in relation to symptoms you are experiencing.
