Very friendly hairdressers, with an average cost of € 48 for a wash, cut and blow dry. My haircut was decent, but my fringe was pretty bad.

A little update!
Went back here Friday 19^th Dec.
Service still as good as last time! The place was busy (Friday evening), the whole place was buzzing and staff was very helpful and took time to check in while waiting for my stylist and that was great. I had Shannon again to do a simple hair trim with wash and blowdry. She was really friendly and did exactly what I wanted.
The only reason it didnt get 5 stars was because I had to wait 25 mins to get my chair and stylist. I think it was because of the time of day (evening) and it was a Friday. But it would have been nice if I didnt have to wait that long. The girls were still nice and apologized in a friendly manner.
Alao got a nice voucher for me and a friend to get a wash and blowdry for 35 € which is great!

What a wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in the door until the moment I left, I was treated as if I was the only customer in there. Everyone is so lovely!
Kelly cut my hair and was great! She made recommendations, did exactly what I asked and it looked great!

I was in Ireland last week on vacation without any of my hair products and tools so I decided to get a blow-out. Found House of Colour on Unilocal and decided to give it a shot. Place was great and I got a fab blow-out by Laura. She was so sweet and did a amazing job. The staff are very professional and attentive. I would recommend and would definitely go back if ever I find myself in Dublin and in need of some hair therapy!

Very attentive and friendly staff. You’re not left waiting long when you arrive for your appointment. They listen to what you want and give you great advice for styling and aftercare.
Their prices aren’t too bad either, in and around the same as Peter Mark but with a much better service.
After getting my hair done there three times, they’re my new regular spot

Went for a haircut here today for the second time. I explained to the hairdresser (Tanya) the exact style i wanted. She understood and carried out the task amazingly. I’ve yet to have anything to complain about.
Overall, 10 stars for Tanya! Will be coming here again. :)

I didn’t have my hair cut by a professional for three years as the thought of going into a salon was so scary for me. I have really thick hair that most people just don’t seem to understand. HoC had been recommended online and by friends, but I was really pleased with how my stylist Max was the one person who coloured, washed and cut my hair and how he immediately set me at ease by explaining how he was going to deal with my hair during the consultation. The colour is great and really natural — he talked me out of mad break-up style hair! I will definitely be back. The relief of being able to walk out of a salon without regrets is amazing!
TIP: They prefer a patch test of 48 hours rather than 24 as per their website.

Got a haircut here — they were able to book me in same day (yes!). Upon entering you check your coat in, and they offer you a menu with coffee and tea choices (food if you need it). The stylist sat down next to me and we had a brief discussion on what look I was going for. She explained everything along the way and was very patient with me.
They take customer service seriously and excel at it. Not only that, they’re really good at what they do; I have really thick hair and people who don’t «understand» it end up leaving it like a puffy mushroom. Not 100% sure but I think her name was Amy… she did an amazing job.
Definitely coming back! Woohoo! I hope your experience will be as good as mine.
