I’ve been to Just Wing It between four or five times now. Last visit was yesterday 29th Feb 2016. The seating has changed over the past few months but still in keeps with the décor. Even with a recent change in seating it still remains an issue with this wing joint, one word … Uncomfortable! Unlike near by places the music choice is a perfect fit. I went with a meal deal on this occasion € 9.99 for 6 boneless wings, waffle fries and a can of soda and then I added in some mozzarella sticks which where about € 5.50. Once again I went with a different sauce on my wings, and yet another miss with flavours, the waffle fries are enjoyable but the only difference between them and McDonald’s twisty fries are the shape plain and simple. Mozzarella sticks are one of my personal favourites but on this occasion they just weren’t hot enough. On my next visit I’ll have to try something which aren’t wings for a change.

So, first time in here and I was impressed, firstly by the choice of music(Hanson was playing!) then by the menu, no so much by the décor, though. Those iron stools aren’t my idea of comfort. Plus, I only have little legs, they were swingin’ all over the place! The menu was good, I picked up some boneless bites in Jerk BBQ sauce with some fries on the side. It was a good choice, it was tasty, there were a lotttt of fries and the chicken was cooked exactly how I like it. It was € 9.99 for 6 small pieces of chicken, fries and a can of 7up. I assume their wings would come in a much larger portion. My friend got the boneless bites in a much spicier sauce than me, she literally couldn’t finish them. I’ll update when I find out the name. It’s a nice spot, very quiet when we visited, which was a Saturday afternoon. I’d come back to try the ultimate fries and maybe the wings in the tequila and lime dressing. That sounds yummy!

Have only been here to sit down once, and got a takeout another time. Both were really positive experiences, staff are friendly and helpful, service is quick! Although the seating is not particularly comfortable, the enjoyment you get out of the food makes you forget about it almost immediately ! We got the TV dinner(I think?), it was a TON of food, and included the ultimate fries and the wings, which were both, naturally, the highlight of the meal! Would definitely recommend. Would like to go back and try a burger or wrap or something!

Very disappointed after our first experience. Won’t be back. Over priced bog standard food. Boneless wings are actually chopped breast in a thick gooey batter that resembled a Chinese chicken ball. The buffalo sauce was poured over and turned it into a gooey mess. Terrible resemblance to the franks buffalo bottled sauce. The kids meal was also not great. Won’t be back for their over priced substandard food. I’ll stick to the just wing it roadside wings.

Im gonna stick with five stars for now because it was my first visit and I couldnt fault anything. Yes, its small. Yes, the chairs arent comfy and you eat of barrels! But the food makes up for it. The menu is huge, the portions are huge, the flavours are huge!!! There was three of us and the baby. Even the baby loved it!!! Boneless wings or normal wings. Brisket, burgers, pulled pork, turkey, nachos, shrimp, ribs etc. American sodas like dr. pepper, root beer, cherry soda, vanilla soda etc. Amazing sides like corn, beans, salad etc. The menu is just endless. Then you choose your sauce. once again endless :) mild buffalo all the way upto mango habenero(couldn handle it ha). inbetween theres some coconut and lime sauce and cajun and bbq. you can add buffalo salt rub and blue cheeses. i cant explain how much choice there is. The fries have different toppings but the ultimate fries are a must. I had shrimp with a tequila and lime sauce and some regular spicy buffalo boneless bites. Theres a states vibe from the food and décor it reminded me of places in america like ‘Buffalo wild wings’.The food was also really quick and hot. My boyfriend had this burger that had cheese inside the burger and when cut in half the cheese came out(mouth waters).even the fries where crispy and tasty. The toddler had chips an dippers for only € 5 and I would have ate the portion it was so big il never complain :) we had to take food away there was so much. .Cant wait to get my hands on the beef brisket and see if its on par with the states! The waitress said it gets busy at lunch and night and theres only like four tables with a few stools so get in between 3&5 she said thats when its least busy :). check out the pic of the ultimate fries i uploaded they are whopper huge youd share them between two but if you come here theyre defo a must! Gonna return again soon and il slowly but surely get through the menu and il be rolled out of here! :)

Have ordered from here a few times and wish I’d written my review earlier as the earlier experiences were much more positive. The staff were friendly, the chicken was fresh and the chips were great but over time the quality seems to have dropped. Gutted because this was the only place me & my partner would both agree on ordering from!!! Unfortunately the most recent experience means we’ve both agreed to not order again. Portions sizes have shrunk for sure, the wings had so little meat on them and the coleslaw had gone off. I phoned to let them know about the slaw and was told that it was because it was in the bag with the hot food… I explained that the slaw was definitely off. I wasn’t complaining just letting them know so they didn’t sell it to anyone else… Just got a «I’ll let the chef know». No apology, no offer for a free slaw next time… At almost € 30 for a delivery for two people I think they could have done better.

Even though it specialises in chicken wings — do not leave here without«the ultimate fries«. … They truly are the ultimate fries !!! Amazing !!! … cajun wings my favourite.. I don’t recommend the soy garlic.. Nor the buffalo. normally I love buffalo but not really in this place :-S . . its very casual here … They also do the American sodas here which I love! Such as Dr. pepper. cherry and vanilla coke . Root beer etc. ! . so yeah I like this place but one huge flaw they could easily improve on — they don’t provide bowls of water for your fingers. They provide very few wet wipes. They should provide wipes as well as a bowl of water.. As lets face it.. Wings are pretty damn mesy. Something so simple they could easily improve on… also I agree with a previous review there … The barrels are very uncomfortable sit on … but that’s the look they are going for so !

I went here a couple of weeks ago and for the first time ever I opted to eat in and also get something other than wings. I got their Tuesday cinema meal offer which was really good value. I can’t describe how uncomfortable the seating in this place is. The barrel tables mean you have to sit sideways on your stools and can’t really get close enough to the table to comfortably enjoy your meal. The stools themselves are also extremely uncomfortable. I know they were going for a particular look with the seating styles and yea they’re quirky but they’re just awful to sit on. Down to the food– I got their pulled pork burger. I’d heard a lot about it and I’m a big fan of pulled pork so was looking forward to it. Unfortunately I was a little underwhelmed. It looked promising when it came out but it didn’t live up to the hype. Firstly it had the tiniest bit of coleslaw on it– literally a teaspoon sitting on the front of the burger. The BBQ sauce was also a bit on the scrimpy side and wasn’t evenly dispersed. Subsequently after my first bite or two I was left with no sauce and no coleslaw and found myself eating pulled pork on a bun. The pulled pork itself although soft was quite bland and under seasoned. So much so that I had to put mayo and ketchup on it to give it some flavour! I don’t know if this is how it’s normally served or if I was just unlucky but I’ll definitely be sticking to the wings in future. Shame! I’ve downgraded the review by a star. I’ll still be ranting and raving about their wings and sweet potato fries to takeaway!
