Small sushi place, it’s actually a great place to grab some sushi on the go. You can get little 2 piece packs for € 2 – 2.50 pending on filling, very generous size plus there is also larger sushi box options available too. It’s has some seating inside but limited; grabbing on the go is the best way here and if you happen to be nearby close to their closing time… You should pop in and check for their marked down boxes. As they pre-make sushi boxes/packs up, if not sold they try shift them on the cheap. They are all very edible so jump on that bandwagon I say. They do a great spicy salmon roll here, quite yummy indeed!

I’m giving this 5 stars for being the best take away in a box sushi. Always fresh. Not a huge selection but then it is just lunch time and it is not a proper restaurant. Always clean and it’s cheaper than the competitor place around the corner. Salmon is always spot on! I will be back all the time!

Get in my face, super deloiciousness!!! You know what? Sometimes, I DON’T want a salad or a sandwich. Sometimes, I want fresh, well-prepared raw fish in my mouth. I regret nothing about this, except that I work in an area that scoffs at my need for yumminess. NOLONGER. Kokoro has heard my silent plea. I picked up their salmon bento box that came complete with four LARGE, THICK pieces of sashimi(I hate places that look like they’re giving you the barest they can). Also two or three(y’all, I ate them too fast to double check) pieces of salmon sushi, and then several pieces of salmon teriyaki. Sashimi? Two thumbs up. Sushi? So big, it took two-to-three bites to get through one piece, and it didn’t fall apart on me. Teriyaki? I don’t even know if that’s what this was. It was golden fried, and managed to be cool(not COLD), but not soggy. Do you know how hard it is to have something fried, not too greasy, and not soggy when cool? I don’t, because I don’t cook, but it always seems hard. And it came with a spicey mayo sauce that was just perfectly balanced; not too spicey, but just enough flavour to really enhance the meal. Did I mention that it comes with a soup, and the ladies there were all lovely and super helpful and I might make them my best friends? Because that happened, too. So, why not a full five stars? Well, to be honest, Unilocalers, it’s a BIT on the dear side. I probably would do this once or twice a week, but I probably can’t afford it, every day. Also, there’s no seating, so you’re legging it back to work or the park. That’s not necessarily bad; just sayin. I’ll be going back to try out their HOT bar, which also looked fresh and kinda awesomesauce. So, I would HIGHLY recommend to a friend. Bring a bit of extra cash and plant yourself in Merrion park.
