The new stadium looks amazing as though a space ship has landed in the middle of Dublin. I am looking forward to seeing what they have done inside. However why they did not build the stadium with a roof that can close in bad weather I have no idea. The stadium works very well in Cardiff with a roof that can close in bad weather — I understand within minutes? It will be interesting to see how they manage footfall when they open. Good for the Dart and local places to eat and drink.

Lansdowne Road is mostly associated with rugby and while it’s been under construction/refurbishment for a while now, it will soon be back with a bang and is also a great venue for a concert. I went to see REM here some years ago and it was brilliant. We had seats and the view was perfect. It’s also in a great area as it’s on the Dart line so easy to get to. On top of that it’s nice and near areas like Baggot Street where there are great pubs for a post-gig or post-match pint. The new stadium promises to be a state of the art one, which will no doubt be ideal for both the sport and music industries.

Landsdowne Stadium is under construction at the moment. The Irish Soccer Team and The Irish Rugby Team have always played there at some stage before I was even born. Many games were won and lost there. The atmosphere at any of these matches was fantastic, the Irish fans that graced those stands are second to none, ok I’m Irish, I know I’m biased!!. The new stadium at the moment is looking Great,. I have been keeping my eyes on it, I believe that they are way ahead of schedule„ I can’t wait till Landsdowne Stadium opens its turnsiles up to the public again. With the way the young Irish Football Team are playing at the moment, I believe they be the first(and not the last) to bring back some Tropheys. GOIRELAND, Go all the way!!!

Now if you like Irish Rugby then you should get yourself down to Lansdowne Road Stadium. The Lansdowne Road Stadium first opened in 1872. The Stadium is mostly used for Rugby and also for association football international, cup finals and for music concerts too. The Lansdowne Road Stadium is in a major redevelopment stage right now, where the stadium is set to be fully developed by 2010. The cost of the redevelopment is around £365 million and £190 million will be coming from the Irish government.
