Let’s Eat In

I love that this place does food from all different parts of the world, it makes it a lot easier to find out what you’re really craving when you can see it all on one menu.
I went for mostly Chinese style today. I was initially waryabout how many things are on the menu; how could they properly cook things from all different cultures?
Still my order arrived (25 minutes earlier than Just-​Eat claimed), and I was really happy with it! I got Sweet and Sour Chicken (uuugh, I’m such a basic b**ch), with egg fried rice and (to mix it up) Poppadoms.
The chicken was really good, sometimes this dish can be absolutely disgusting in the best way possible but this one genuinely didn’t feel that unhealthy! There were plenty of fresh tasting veggies with a crunch in the sauce. What I loved the most was that the chicken was actually bite-​size; so often I get this dish and it has about 3 enormous pieces of chicken and then I’m too impatient to cut it and end up with a load of air and a pain in my stomach. No such worries here.
The onion dip I got was nice enough but I didn’t really like the mint– a bit too herby for me!
But I’ll definitely be ordering from this place again.
Pretty good value too.

I have to give this place 5 stars I have been ordering from them since 2004 mostly the Blanchardstown Branch because their food is incredible no matter which menu you order off. My favorite is Indian and anyone who eats a lot of Indian knows that most places use the same base sauces in all of their dishes resulting in huge menus with bland creamy sugary similiar dishes but not Lets Eat In. Their bbq is great, their sauces are all very different and their vegetarian dishes are also amazing. They are however expensive and it does take a full hour delivery despite being told 50 minutes but who cares it is worth the wait for food that is beyond restaurant standard.

To cut a long story short, the order arrived an hour and a half late. We rang twice to see what the story was with the food and no one answered either time. We assumed the order wasn’t arriving so we ate something else in the mean time. Driver was a bit rude when food finally arrived. No discount offered on arrival of (probably cold by then) food. Terrible!

As a kid I used to watch the teenage mutant ninja turtles (hey I still would if it was on TV more) and I always thought their pizza looked amazing (and yes I know it was a cartoon but it did look great) so I’ve always been on the hunt for the ultimate pizza.
As I was too lazy to burn the kitchen down and I had places to be later on that night instead of chatting to the Fire Brigade I opted for the «Italian Real Deal» for € 19.95 and I was not disappointed. The pizza was 16″, a massive thing and it also came with chicken strippers.
I don’t know how I ever ordered from Domino’s after eating from this place, best take out ever

OK so everything was going so smoothly with these guys until last night.
Before i divulge let me explain the business. Let’s Eat In have three branches in Dublin, they are a take away/​delivery place that does Italian, Indian, Thai and Chinese food as well as a range of Pizzas and bites to eat. They have an excellent website where you can order everything and then pay when it arrives or you can pick it up from their stores. They have some good meal deals, and so far everything I’ve gotten from them has been fantastic!
Until last night… i did the usual. ordered and waited. … and waited… and waited. Then delivery guy finally arrives over an hour after i ordered with my food. I told him how long i had been waiting and he said he had gotten lost (so call me! you have my number) It turned out my food had been lost in this car for 10 mins longer than it should have been. He couldn’t give me a discount or anything. If i left the food and didn’t take it he would have had to answer for it and I’m too nice a guy for that. So i took the food. it was still hot, but not hot hot if you get me. still I felt that the food should have been there earlier and i don’t know if i will order again from there.
The only problem is the food is fantastic… so I’m going to have to think long and hard about it…
€ 4 deliver is a bit much though i think.
