Let’s Get Giddy!

ALL THE FUN!
I believe I got my most important educational experiences at kindergarten, school and college were not half as beneficial, and Thursdays event was like going back again. But better, cause this time I got wine and curry!
The staff in Giddy Studios are just lovely, and super helpful, as well as very encouraging toward the less artistically inclined, and spent time explaining what would and would not work with our mug painting, and I had a total ball! I would certainly have this right up there as an activity for the next hen night I organise. Really enjoyable and you get to take something home to put your hangover cuppa into!
Camilles currys were very more-​ish, and just the right level of kick, I will have to explore their menu in greater detail in future, especially when they deliver so I can do so from the comfort of me onsie!

I am so giddy thinking about the event ! To prepare for it, I have sorted my shoes and found out 4 unused boxes. I feel in a Xmas spirit and want to spread the love. Our beloved Community Manager will bring them to charity. She is the best, isn’t she? #Shoeboxforcharity #SharesomeloveitsXmas

Once you come in, you don’t want to get out ! I just felt so comfortable from start to finish. The girls there were super nice and helpful. One of them even gave me a tour of the shop and explained the process for setting the paint onto the mugs.

I am thrilled when I think of how many pieces I will be able to decorate ! My first one was a mug, pretty simple but hey that’s a start. Now I feel really inspired and want to do a set of plates, and a teapot, and the cups that go with it, and a piggy bank — but not as a pig, I think I saw a cupcake… *Excitement rises as I write*
Plus 1^ For the experience
So there you are sitting at a table, with your paint and your brushes. You have a palette on a plate already ‘cooked’ so that you can see how the colors will react after depending on how many layers you paint. At first it is a bit tricky because you see the color is very light and you feel like painting more layers. No no no you don’t too. And when you look at the palette you can see how dark it will become. And if you want to ask for a picture to be printed to help for your design, they can do that too ! How awesome: D
Plus 1^ For the food
Ok so, the thing is you can book a table — like you would at the restaurant — to paint and if you feel a bit hungry you can order food onsite ! Got out of here !!! Yes you can. That time there was a curry delivery man who came over to the shop. But if you don’t like curry and want to order, let’s say… a pizze for example, that’s cool too :) Annnd if you want to bring a bottle of your favourite vino… Bring it with you and voila !

I had so much fun that time, I definitely plan on coming back. I am not kidding. I am going to redecorate my kitchen you have no idea: D
