These girls deserve a 10
I booked Makeup Forever for my wedding last summer. We were in 8 girls and we all had to get our makeup done, so I booked two makeup artists, they arrived on time and they were very gentle and lovely to all of us. One of them had the idea of doing the makeup in the back garden, I personally had never thought about it… Loved it!!!

As I mentioned in my last review, Make Up Forever don’t stock or use Shellac products, although the GrabOne voucher I used specifically stated it was Shellac.
There are a lot of other two week manicure brands and the staff assured me the one they used was the same as Shellac.
So I went to a local beautician and paid to have my two week manicure from Make Up Forever removed. The procedure just didn’t work and the polish didn’t come off, and the beautician informed me that Make Up Forever actually gave me a gel manicure, which is totally different and very damaging to nails. I had to have it filed off my nails, they all broke and the surfaces of them are in bits. The beautician who removed it said that they have had several customers come in with the same issue after visiting Make Up Forever.
So yeah, won’t be going there again.

Make Up Forever/​FACE2 is one of those stores that isn’t really a store. When I stepped inside, it was very quiet with just one girl at the front desk waiting. For what exactly? A makeup consultation or for someone to purchase some good makeup.
The great thing about Make Up Forever is the very relaxed vibe created with good music and a good design layout. I came in looking for a good foundation to match my skin tone and the woman was very healthy in helping to find the perfect shade. Make Up Forever’s make up range is very very good. Although I can’t compare prices to makeup at Brown Thomas due to the fact I haven’t checked, I can say that you can get very good liquid lift foundation for around 32 euro. They also have some very good eye shadows, lipsticks and a nice big makeup range — they are Make Up Forever after all!
I can’t really say anything bad about Make Up Forever apart from the fact that you may end up leaving with a lot more makeup than you expected if you want a free makeover!
