Woo hoo! Slam dunked again! Second trip to Dublin and of course I HAD to go to my fav hardware store. Wouldn’t you know it? Along with sundry ‘usual’ hardware items, they had the touch-​up appliance/​enamel paint I was looking for! DIY Hardware is as good as it gets!

I’ve been doing a few (read ‘many’) bits and pieces to a house in Stoneybatter recently. I couldn’t ask for a better DIY shop to have nearby. Pretty much everything I needed was in the shop, at great prices. Where I needed something else I got sound advice on what to do. As previous posters have said, the friendly reception makes it all a pleasure too. Top notch.

Manor DIY might look small from the outside, but it’s incredibly well stocked and the owner is very helpful. It’s a great resourse for anybody living in the area.

The perfect side of helpful.
I’ve been in to Manor D.I.Y a few times and every time i’m met by the guy who works there with a friendly smile, a bit of conversation and endless helpful advice.
A somewhat cosy yet incredibly well stocked store, you are almost guaranteed to find what you need here. If, for whatever reason you don’t they are more than happy to tell you where you can tick that item off the list. No begrudgery against other businesses, just an honest, helpful place that will make you wish you picked up a paintbrush years ago!

As the five star prompter says, this place really is as good as it gets. I’ve been in here countless times for help with the most ridiculous questions, and each time, the dude has come up trumps. I wish I knew his name so I could call him out, but it’s always the same guy, who I presume is the owner.
It’s everything you need in your local DIY shop — highly knowledgable staff, a wide range of everything you could ever possibly need items, good value, convenient opening hours, and right on your doorstep.
Can’t say fairer than that.

These guys are fantastic. Genuine & helpful people & the store is nice & bright.
My front door handle broke this morning, I took a few photos & showed them to the guys there. They sorted me out so I didn’t need to call a lock smith, which is expensive.
They got me the right part & told me how to fix it for minimal cost.
