Very small little café opposite the Dail on Kildare Street. Despite its small size it manages to fit lots of people in and seems to be busy all day. As it is opposite the Dail you are nearly guaranteed to see a politician or news person when you visit. The staff are absolutely lovely especially the owner Carol seems to know everyone by name and always has a few words and a smile to go with your coffee. It is an independent coffee shop and Carol seems to always be there so not surprising that the service and food quality is so excellent. The staff all seem really happy to be working there which makes it a really nice place to visit !

Small coffee shop across from the road from our policy people — you know the ones who run the country while we try to catch up. Nice little place with a great cherry bun and a good cup of tea. The BEST part is listening to what the other people are saying in there while they are having their cup of tea. There was one man talking(from England) as though he knew everything about politics in the UK all about Harold Wilson and not having a Labour Government will be the ruin of the country plus a lot of other stuff which made it obvious he knew nothing about what he was talking about. He must have been a very important man as the two guys with were keeping quite and letting him do all the talking… perhaps they were being polite. Anyway nice little coffee and if you are lucky great entertainment.
