I’d better write this review quickly. … these retro sweet shops have an unfortunate habit of closing down all too soon after opening.
I hope this one stays around for a while; the selection of treats was more along the lines of ‘things you can’t get in Ireland ’ rather than the usual ‘things you used to get in Ireland’ (sour smog ball anyone?). A lot of American stuff I wouldn’t normally be a fan of… it certainly made for more interesting browsing.
I liked it, junior loved it, we’ll certainly be back… If it manages to buck the trend!
