Okay so on Sunday the boyfriend and I missed Linkee by 5 minutes, so we thought we’d give San-sans a chance. If I could give 0 stars, I would, this was the worst take away I have EVER had from a Chinese. After the order being 30 minutes late the take away finally arrived. The delivery driver was probably the only nice thing about the entire fiasco. The boyfriend got what was supposed to be Szechaun duck, turned out to be luke warm limp soggy yet dry(???) duck drenched in some sauce that was basically soy sauce with some honey snuck in and a forest of bean sprouts that had definitely seen better days. He was given some soy sauce side sauce in case the duck wasn’t adequately drowned enough. I got supposedly salt and chillli chicken, instead I got some soggy msg enriched chicken bits with a generous lumping of salt and a scabby bit of chilli seasoning(and one or two seeds) in some form of oily sauce and a 3 in 1 satay that consisted of 1 part dried under mixed satay sauce, 3 parts undercooked chips and 6 parts rice. Fair enough they did listen and give me satay instead of curry sauce but the amount of satay was a JOKE. It was actually so poor we even called them to say that it was«really unfortunate» and she basically hung up. Poor customer service, poor timing, poor quality and poor quantity of anything that wasn’t rice. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere. Plus we both felt REALLY unwell the next day. San-sans was the worst take away I have ever had in Ireland, in 25 years!

I moved away from Ireland 14 years ago and every chance I get to go home and visit, I have to stop by San Sans takeaway. They make the best chicken balls on the planet. I’m craving them now just thinking about it. Fast and friendly service and you cannot find better curry sauce anywhere. Awesome, I’d take it home on a plane if I could!
