There’s gorgeous fresh flowers waiting any time of year for just outside of Scarecrow Florist. Yes, the shop is miniscule and YES that awning harkens back to your Beano comic buying days at lunch break, but oooh, those yellow and white snowdrops…
Serving the demanding floral expectations of the «auflly auffly» in Sandymount and surrounding areas, this smart little store promises great things with artful arrangements that deserve the (rather heavy) price tags they incur.
As a wise Unilocaler once said: Easy as it is to pick a flower, arranging it is an art. Call on Scarecrow to craft a bouquet that says it all, and implies more.

I’m more of a supermarket-​flower buyer as that’s as far as my budget allows, but I have bought flowers in the tiny Scarecrow florist in Sandymount once upon a time.
I love the fact that the shopfront is the same as it was probably twenty years ago. From the outside it looks worn and cheap, but inside you’ll find very pretty but extremely expensive bouquets for all occasions. They have recommended arrangements for Mother’s Day, the Debs, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, funerals, anniversaries, birthdays and any other special occasions besides. They can also do table or church arrangements for conferences and weddings.

Tucked away and hiding in plain sight in the middle of sandymount village is the florists called Scarecrow (actually I didn’t know the name of the place until I went to take a pic for this review!) — and I’ve been in there loads of times!
They do good stuff, the arrangements always look the part but I would quibble about the price, I’ve paid anything up to 65 Euro for a bunch of 6 roses — granted I was in a hurry and needed something impressive… I’ll leave the details to your self to work out, suffice to say they did the trick!
