The classic shop in town who employs incompetent/ignorant staff, whose doesn’t know about prices and customer service. I shopped there 5 times as it for me a convenient location but I had to point out on 3 occasions that price presented at the counter was totally wrong with the one stated on the display. On a top of that, this morning the usual girl who appeared confused on my complaint to pay 100% more the stated price, she looked at me like I was an alien from another planet. The only fault is SPAR who employes low cost staff with no experience and no interest on understanding little more about their own job. Unfortunately there are plenty of them in Dublin, ready to take the same underpaid job. If you go there, double check the price because you might end up to pay more that what it is stated. So, from now on I will have to find another place to shop nearby.

Would not shop here, only if no other option. Popped in only for booze and was WTF and OMGFTS o. O Prices were sky rocketing! Very good Polish beer 5,6% ~€ 2.60, where it normally costs € 1.70. And that applied to all beers. Thankfully, they had sale on Heineken(3,8%) 6 cans for € 8. If not that, I’d have walked to next shop don’t matter how far. I actually remembered my good acquaintance’s words — spar is for rich people, buddy. I’m not rich enough :( Even it’s a standard, but they also have ATM inside.

A 24 hour Spar just beside my apartment. Couldn’t be handier. It’s got a really good selection of everything and is more like a mini-supermarket than a corner shop, and it also has a little sit-down area if you want to relax with a coffee. It’s not exactly convenient unless you live close by(Smithfield for example) but it’s perfect for me!
