Great discovery of this type of — VERY — convenient store. We don’t have anything like that in France and it is way better than the 7 eleven stores that I have come across in Asia(except that they don’t open 24 hours a day). The shop is opened 7 days a week, at 6am on week days and 7am during the weekend. You can buy drinks, juice, hot drinks(tee, coffee), and you have everything for your breakfast(fresh baked pastries, jam, etc.). If you want to grab something for lunch, there is a deli counter where you can ask for home made sandwiches: you chose you bread, then vegetables, meat and toppings. The sandwich is sold based on the weight. Prices are not particularly expensive and you can defintely find something there when you are hungry.

This Spar gets an instantaneous fourth star for selling Peperami. These delicious little blighters are impossible to find anywhere but this Spar always has them. I can’t understand why society just won’t understand that meat treats are way better than sugar treats, controversial I know, but there you have it. They also have an Insomnia coffee bar, meaning that there are at least four Insomnias on Baggot Street, and this one makes particularly bad coffee. They are open twenty-four hours and as a result are really popular with taxi drivers late at night.
