SPAR

A great little Spar!
Perfectly geared towards the «grab something quick to eat before getting back behind the desk» office worker. The Spar comprises amongst other things of a selection of newspapers /​magazines, a limited selection of birthday cards, fresh coffee machine (although you might be better of going to one of the specialist coffee shops surrounding it), a large selection of crisps, chocolate bars etc, good selection of drinks, dairy products and the reason why I go most days of the week a small to medium selection of sandwich options freshly prepared there and then.
The Spar offers a cheap lunch time alternative to the other sandwich /​bagel places down the west end of the IFSC.
The staff are excellent, and there is never more than a 5 minute turnaround from getting in, ordering, paying and getting out. The staff behind the sandwich counter are very efficient, listen to your entire order and never ask that you repeat your sandwich selection multiple times after each and every item.
My only criticism is that after a couple of years the sandwich selections have not changed a great deal, and maybe a limited choice of olives etc might be quite nice.
