Spar

This Spar is open 24 hours, which means that I’ve gone in there drunk more times than I care to admit! But I’m sure I’m not the only plastered person they’ve ever had to serve at 2am. As a shop it’s not a whole lot different to any other Spar. In other words, it’s overpriced, especially when it comes to sandwiches and rolls. You could pay nearly a fiver for a BLT, which is robbery in my opinion.
That said, this store is really, really handy because it’s open constantly. When it’s all hours of the morning and you are starving but don’t want chippy food, it’s a great place to pop into to stock up. But I wouldn’t tend to frequent it much otherwise because it’s too dear and there is a Tesco nearby that is a whole lot cheaper. The take away coffee here isn’t nice either. The staff are great though — helpful and friendly, even when dealing with intoxicated punters!
