I work in a service for people with disabilities and had bad experience ordering a chair off the back shop. The chair is not what we asked for and the material did not wear well over time. Complained to the company and they did not offer to rectify useless we paid for reupholstering.

This shop definintely covers a niche market anyway! how many shops do you know that cater soley for the needs of ones back? its only when you get a back problem when you discover how important your back is to you and how sensitive it can be and this shop certainly understands. you can get chairs and stools and massage things to fit on chairs and heaed pad things and massage things and just anything you can think of that will help you with a sore back. there are lots of little diagrams and things in the shop and in the window to help you really understand whats going on and the people in the shop are experts in… backs!

During one of those heinous spates when my back was out to lunch(and the rest of me was laid out shrieking on the floor) I was shuffled into The Back Shop for a little assistance of the non-medicated kind. Who knew all it took was a tightly fastened brace to set things straight? Well, clearly the gentleman at The Back Store. It’s all about spinal health here — from seats and mattresses to foam wedges and braces — all stocked with your back in mind. Coming from a family of bad backers, I’ve heard the guilt-inducing speech about posture and sitting; it didn’t stop him from letting a tiny bit of lecturing out, but once the brace was on I could have listened to him reading the phone book I was so relieved.
