Such an adorable store front and restaurant. Cozy setting and free wifi with password written right on the wall. Ordered easily one of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had along with their pancakes. Super filling. I could only finish one. The front of the store has delicious looking baked goods. I didn’t grab any. Next time. And that’s all I have to say about that. Jackée

We were looking for some coffee and some sweet treats in the afternoon. This place was well located and the people working here were just incredibly nice but I found the cakes to be mediocre and the selection to be slim. Maybe better earlier in the day, but I don’t see much reason to return. Picnic tables outside need some tightening. Inside was super hot.

Cute little place with friendly service. They were busy but efficient. The cappuccino was delicious and the omelet and fry plate were very good, not too greasy. Reasonably priced and generous portions.

Excellent breakfast /brunch /lunch food. I had the bacon sandwich which was delicious but I was jealous of how good the fry looked. Also got a portion of the pancakes to share, was too full from the bacon to finish but the pancakes are proper thick doughy ones, very yum. We were there at 1pm on a Saturday so obviously this was the height of their business and unfortunately this was reflected in the service. Of the 5 – 6 servers only 2 paid us any attention. These 2 were very helpful and friendly, quite the opposite of the others. When we entered we stood for about 15 minutes waiting for a table, which was understandable as the place was totally full, but not one of the servers even looked at us during this time, almost afraid to tell us we would be waiting. Not the best way to go about business. In short, excellent food and we will be back, but service could definitely be improved.

Fantastic brunch! I’d say by far the best I’ve had in Dublin. Their blueberry and maple syrup pancakes are the bomb! The omelette was perfectly made and the potato cubes were foodgasmic. Highly recommend the Bake House to anyone who’s in the city centre and is looking for a full filling meal

Lovely little café. Dropped in to have brunch and do a bit of work. Nice atmosphere and easy to work in despite being full. I had the sausage, bacon and scallion omelette to which I added cheese(at no extra cost). This was top notch as was the soda bread it came with. Friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

Went to the Bakehouse because it was the only place in the area open for breakfast. Nothing was horrible, it was just really really average. Two stars may be a bit harsh as the coffee was ok and the staff were really friendly/pleasant, but I really wish I would have waited another hour for other better restaurants to open. My hunger got the best of me, again. I ordered the farl, which was a large portion of blandness. Go here if you’re starving and need to fill the void, but if you’re looking for a place with good food, good ingredients and stuff that isn’t microwaved, try and wait it out.

One of the best breakfast that dublin has to offer! Visited this place last weekend and got the full fry. The staff were super nice and when we said that we didn’t really like eggs they substituted it for cheesy beans for free! It’s a side and usually costs a few quid but the waitress was super nice and offered us the alternative of any side! We got two coffees with our meal and they were intricate decorated and the flavour of the cappuccino was out of this world. What ever type of coffee beans the barista uses are delicious! The fry itself wasn’t greasy but tasted as good as any greasy spoon fry. Will definitely be coming back!

I definitely have to come back. It was the first time here and I got temped from the baked potato on the menu. It was indeed a very good one with a good amount of bacon on top and i was satisfied of my chiice until I tasted my girfriend plate. The bread they make was incredibly good. I don’t miss much the food from my country as I can cook pretty good italian food, but bread is not easy to find as good as the one in Italy. I will come back to try the sandwitches.

I had bacon and pancakes here recently and though the place is really small the food was truly great, i’d recommend it to anyone. really convenient location as well. My only wish is that they had more space!

The Bakehouse is an adorable little spot just across the river from Temple Bar. We wandered in after a 8 hour flight from Chicago and had breakfast on our first day in Dublin. The staff was great, and the food was tasty. It was a nice relaxing spot to hangout for a bit.

One of my favourite breakfast spots in Dublin! We’ve come here countless Sundays for their egg & soldiers and their pancakes. Although it’s quite small inside, we always find a seat and are served by the very friendly staff. Great music as well. One time, committed to the pancakes, we took the last available table outside in the rain and wind, and one of the servers brought us a complimentary slice of cake for our struggles. Prices are great considering the quality. 10⁄10!

We had just arrived and found out that we just missed the breakfast menu. A little bit bummed, but there is a good variety for all on the lunch menu. Lunch combinations are quite filling. With a sandwich, you can choose any soup. I chose the coddle, which is a hearty soup with sausage and vegetables in broth. The roast chicken sandwich was pretty simple, but the bread was heavenly soft and cottony. The roast chicken was tender and not dry. I only wished it had a more flavorful aioli or something to tie it together. SX went for a bap, which can be best described as a hot sandwich on a crusty roll. The baps comes with good potato homefries that are crisp on the outside and fluffy soft on the inside. Very friendly staff, but understaffed. This is a small place, but it gets crowded and busy quickly. This made service a bit spotty at times.

Before heading to Dublin I researched bakeries and found this adorable little joint. The minute my husband and I walked in we knew we were in for a treat. It’s a small venue that seats about 25 max, but their service and food offerings make it fabulous! We both enjoyed soups(piping hot with THE freshest ingredients), and I enjoyed a salad(9 different veggies in it!), my husband a sandwich. Their bread is to die for. Extremely fresh and tastes like heaven. We said we could just eat bread and butter from there with every meal the rest of our lives. We got an apple turnover to go and boy, what a great choice. The pastry was flaky, the apples were soft but crunchy, and there were the perfect amount of spices. The prices are extremely affordable and the location is awesome. Make sure to try out this gem next time you’re in Dublin!

I was saving this place for its brunch but desperate times and all that, so I landed in of a late afternoon to scoff down a sambo. Delighted I did all the same! Inside was almost empty and the terrace was full, but that suited me fine as I needed to get a socket for my poor dying laptop. Found myself a spot to park into and then got myself the soup and sangich and 7up and coffee, because I was listening to my tummy very well this day. I went for the Roast Chicken sandwich and the Chicken soup, which in hindsight was a lot of chicken but I was clucking delighted with myself.(I did that without even thinking… I’ll see myself out.) Both were delish, though the soup in particular really brought me back to the winters of my childhood, in the best way possible. Haven’t had chicken soup this nice in a long time! That’ll do the soul one, it deserves it. I sat until I felt uncomfortable doing my work here, but in fairness though the staff were clearly on the move to clear out, they never made me feel rushed. If anything, they were more than willing to give me extra time to get my shizz done. It was about 15 euro for my meal, christ’s sake Dublin– it’s only a sambo. But they’re definitely in the good books for another time!

Thank you Bakehouse for introducing to POTATOFARLS! By golly you were delicious smothered with sauteed mushrooms and onions, a sponge for all the egg yolks on my plate. Your warm fluffy center has given me great comfort. You’ve dashed me with your symphony of herbs, dazzled me with every cumin note. Thanks to you, Irish breakfasts will never be the same.

Dieses Lokal ist ein Geheimtipp in Dublin. Kurz gesagt: geniales Essen vor allem fürs Frühstück und super gemütlich eingerichtet! Das lokal ist klein und gemütlich. Viel Pink was dieses süsse flair erzeugt.
