I visited the Constant Knitter while on holiday with my boyfriend from London. The owner pulled up my pattern, which was a cabled bag, and helped me find the perfect yarn. She gave me tips on lining the bag, and was the nicest knitting shop owner I have ever met. I cannot recommend this more highly.
Francis Street has loads of antique shops, and it is located super close to St. Patrick’s. The shop is a gem.

I feel terribly that I have not written this review sooner! I visited The Constant Knitter while in Dublin for work last November. I was crocheting a scarf for a friend that I had with me, while also wanting to pick up some yarn to take back home (USA). The shop owner Rosemary, was wonderful! After being able to tell me any and all details about the yarns I was interested in, she proceeded to talk with my friend and I about the area, what I was making, how the shop came about, etc. She finished the whole transaction with inviting me to a men’s knitting circle that was held in the upstairs part of the shop. I am flying back to Dublin for more work this week and I will absolutely be returning for more yarn, and hopefully I can attend the circle as well! Thank you for a lovely experience!

This is one of the best knit shops in central Dublin. It is a tiny store but jammed packed full of yarn and notions. The owner is quite helpful. They also offer classes. It is one street west of St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Best yarn shop in Dublin.
The owner is wonderfully friendly and helpful. There’s such a great selection of yarn for such a small shop and it all seams to be decently priced. There’s a great space upstairs where they do craft workshops and classes, unfortunately I haven’t been to one yet. The window display is always inspirational and a joy to behold.
Can’t recommend it enough, just drop in and you won’t be disappointed.

Rosemary the owner is perfection plus! Customer service to the extreme. I purchased yarn from the shop online, my only regret is that I couldn’t have walked in the door of this wonderful little shop. I will be visiting soon!
