As a large attractive stone building, near the round tower in the very centre of Clondalkin village, it is hard to miss. I think it is easily the nicest building in the village. The pub food is well above average; you can get a nice cajun chicken burger and opt for garlic potatoes instead of chips and you can get pepper sauce on the side of practically anything! In my opinion the Guinness is as good as it gets. There seems to be live bands on most weekends and although it is usually classic rock, of which I am not a fan, they are definitely good bands. It is also, a great place to watch a match. The bar staff and waiting staff are always friendly and efficient.

This pub is a very popular one with the locals. Many sports games are shown here which attracts a large crowd and the barmen always have time for a chat and quick joke while keeping everyone served with drinks and food. The chicken wings are the stuff of legends.
