Oddly enough this place is my local ‘café’ if you will. It’s plush in surrounds but their coffee/tea menu are standard prices. If it’s a fine beaut of the day you can take your drinkypoos outside and lounge in the lush Gardens. They’re suitable to the grand nature of the original house and Xposé use them regularly for their fashion segments. You’ll never be rushed out of your seat or squashy sofa here and it’s actually an ideal locale for doing some reading, writing, researching… ambient without being noisy. As you’d expect there’s breakfast, lunch and scone-style things on offer too.

Deep within the neo-palladian columns of the Radisson hotel, the Orangerie Bar is unsurprisingly luxurious. The bar is in one of the two glass conservatory wings of this grand palace serving: breakfast and lunch; coffee and tea; with a full bar. A nice place for afternoon tea with your granny maybe, but not really my packet of biscuits.
