I’ve been to this pub twice. Once during a 12 pubs and again last night. I have to say, I may have just found my new local! Like a few people said, it doesn’t look like much from the outside, and it’s in a kind of residential area so there’s not much around it. However, you’re up for a great time inside! The whole bar has a sports theme to it, and there’s loads of games! And can I say, an AMAZING craft beer selection. I’ve never been here where it was over crowded(and they do have an upstairs area with an arcade in it). Anyway, When I was here last time, I got the White Hag Oatmeal stout on draught(yum!). And they have cards against humanity(double score!!) behind the bar. Loads of great seating… great place for a group of friends to hang out, play some games, and have some tasty beer.

a pub for game lovers, with an old version of supermario, a ping pong table, an some board games(many of them incomplete, with missing pieces). They have three different saloons, the first one a lounge like, with big screen, the second one like a interior garden, nice to sit and a third one upstairs with the ping pong table and the board games.

I walked past this place a few nights ago thinking nothing of the place. My guess was that it was an old, dingy locals pub. After all it was on a dimly lit street in a very residential area of Dublin 2. It wasn’t until I was looking up great places to watch the Rugby World Cup in Dublin that I saw that this was on the list. After checking out their website and giving them a Like on Facebook, I was sold! It mentioned big screens, craft beer, arcade machines and most importantly. Mario Kart. What more could you want? Myself and a fellow Unilocaler wandered up to watch the match a little late but still managed to get great seats. It was buzzing but not packed which is always a plus. The craft beer range was excellent, they had lots of deals on normal beers and shots, as well as a little cocktail menu. After the rugby was over we asked if they served food. Unfortunately they don’t but they said we could bring some food in we liked. Conveniently there was a takeaway pizza place 2mins walk away. We brought our pizzas upstairs to find a big games room. Tons of board games, 2 classic Nintendo consoles(N64 and SNES), classic arcade machines, a dart board and a ping pong table. Sorted! All in all we had a great little Sunday and have discovered a gem of a place. They’ve only recently opened as well and seem to be doing well, so I urge everyone to go check it out and support the new guys. Looking forward to a Friday or Saturday night now too see what the buzz is like!
