We(my husband, two children(7 and 4) and mum in law) had lunch here to celebrate mum in laws birthday. We received a lovely welcome, and service was excellent. They have a lovely childrens menu(which has a mix of the usual and some more sophisticated options for the more«mature«younger diners). My scallops with pancetta were lush, the hake with fennel purée and chive mash and sauce verge divine, and the rhubarb and raspberry crumble VERY satisfying. Other dishes on the table were goats cheese brulee, French onion soup, tomato soup. All bowls and plates were cleaned. A special word has to be reserved for the signature beef and guiness pie mm mm mm mm. Total bill for 4 starters, 5 mains, 4 desserts, 2 diet cokes, large btl of sparkling water, orange juice and 1 coffee was a smidge over € 100. Perfick

Had a delicious stew and few pints there last week with a group. Loved the feel of the place and the lass working behind the bar. I will return in October. Lovely.

Tucked away in Terenure is probably one of Dublin’s true gastro pubs. What was once a pretty quiet local, is now a fantastic place to eat. Split over 3 levels, I always like sitting on the middle floor on one of the tables along the side. Upstairs is more restaurant like and a bit more formal. The food really is fantastic, I normally have Chicken Casserole Pie with Mushroom and barley risotto. Its a big meal which is what I like about the place, its really simple well made food in great surroundings. Friends who eat when i’m there also gave the Bangers and Mash with silver Skin Gravy the thumbs up. I also saw someone singing the praises of the Guinness Pie. Besides having a great buzz it never feels like your in a overly fancy or expensive restaurant. Word of mouth, and favorable reviews are really working on this place, its well deservingly packed, especially on weekend nights.

Fantastic, high end, straight forward Irish food. I actually took a cab some 17 euros out of the city just to check this place out and it was fully worth it. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is great and the food is really nice. They literally had no tables when we arrived(make reservations) and when they found out we had come out from NYC, they jumped through hoops to make sure we got a table. Highly, highly recommend.
