This is the grocery store that I use the most frequently because its closest to my house. It’s your average tesco. I’ve seen better and I’ve seen worse. They do have a large produce section which is great, but,(and maybe this is the American in me coming out,) I wish they had a larger non-food selection. I’d like to be able to get everything I need in one go. That said, I’ve always found the staff exceptionally helpful.

I go here because it is close to my house. I am beginning to think it might be worth my time to head into Blackrock to the Superquinn. Half the time I go in looking for something in particular, especially in the produce department, they are out of stock. Plus, they almost never have bags. I am constantly disappointed by just about everything here, but it is still cheaper and more convenient than the Super Value just down the road.

Same old Tesco same old layout — nothing much to add about the shop except in Bloomfield if you use the car-park and spend over € 35(I think) you get € 4.40 off your parking ticket.

I like this Tesco a lot. It’s very big and easy to get around. Each section is well stocked and there’s a bit of everything and more that you’d expect in a supermarket on offer — hot food, fruit and veg, bakery etc. They also have an impressive non-food offering. I bought an iron here ages ago for very little and I still have it. The staff are OK too. I popped in recently and used one of the self-service tills when I went to pay. I needed assistance and it took a while to get someone’s attention. But I will say that when a woman eventually came over to help me, she was super apologetic about keeping me waiting. It’s a store I would definitely go back to when I’m in the area.
