The Yankee Store

Worst customer service ever ! I was up in the Carrickmines store a few weeks ago and had terrible service. When I entered the shop there were no other customers and both of the staff were up ladders stocking shelves. Neither offered me any assistance and when I was finished shopping I waited for a few minutes and eventually asked «can I please pay». One girl came down and severed me with plenty of eye rolling. I said «thanks a million» and she just huffed and put my change on the table. So terribly rude I will be sure to never return to this shop

I’m a little surprised that there are no reviews on this shop yet as it has been there since November. I love LOVE LOVE this place! The variety of candles available is heaven compared to chemists and easons etc
The girls that work there are great fun to talk to and could not be more helpful!
The constant offers in there are great and every month there are 3 or 4 different candles on offer. They have gorgeous gift sets on display and will wrap everything and anything for you, it makes a really good present for birthdays and other occasions. At Christmas I was in there twice a week for the month of dec and spent a crazy amount of money but everyone loved it so it was worth it. They were meant to have a garden party in July but I think it was cancelled due to the uncertainty of the weather but the girls assured me Ithat there will be special Offers on anyway so I won’t complain. All in all I find this shop amazing and recommend it for anyone looking for a special gift. Look for Marie when you go in, she is a lovely girl and nothing is too much hassle for her. My only complaint would be that they are a little low on stock at the moment, they also run out of a lot of things quickly and it’s a bit slow to come back in (I’ve been waiting for a large clean cotton) but they do try and get it from their head store but be prepared to wait a week or more.
