Ariba! I like the way this brand teaches me languages as I shop. With signs in both English and Spanish, you find yourself flicking through A-line vestidos or searching for that perfect pair of black pantolones. Bershka is big into t-shirts featuring quirky cartoon characters and slogans, some of which do get lost in translation. At the moment, there is one that features an Audrey Hepburn-alike with the message«We danced all night on the rooftop at the party». To me, it sounds more like a dreamy teen’s blog entry than something I want to wear on my chest.

Bershka is kind of like H+M. It’s pretty much targeted and young teenagers right up to students and those in their early 20’s. It’s funky, cool and pretty stylish. Think faded skinny jeans, check shirts, glitzy tops and cool t-shirts. I’ve found a good few cute things in there on occasion, and the prices are really reasonable. It’s a big chain that’s come over from Spain and the Dundrum store was the first original store in Ireland, as far as I’m aware. They’ve since opened up a second store in the Jervis Centre and a third, I think, on Henry St.
