My Sunday usual brunch spot… The food ain’t cheap but the atmosphere is good and the food is ok. I’d say a good place to go for a brunch time event with friends

The café in House of Fraser has been updated a while back and looks great. Came here for breakfast last week and ordered myself a full Irish for the first time in ages so really looking forward to it.
Ugh, I was so disappointed. They had the WORST sausages ever, genuinely felt like a dense bread substitute for sausage and the saltiest bacon. Must say, dont know where the sausages were source from but I ahve never eaten anything like them and never want to again. The rest of the fry up was passable but only just and felt like it had been reheated. On the upside they did a good cuppa tea and staff are quite pleasant.
Also despite have a large menu there seems to be little choice for lunch– one of those strange ones. They could do much better but it’ll be a coffee place for me from here on… Pity, as its a lovely location…
