The Best Barber

Hi guys,
I came across this Barber on FaceBook which a friend brought it to my attention, the caption that caught my eye was ‘Brand new Barber Shop open now in Dundrum village offering all the latest barbering techniques including Turkish Hot Towel Shave and providing the highest quality customer service’.
Since my last hair cut was eight weeks ago last November my hair was getting a bit long, so it needed a cut and taught I give this barber some business. As I walked into the barbers I was greeted to two comfortable black leather couches which I sat in one and waited for the Barber to finished with customer he was working on. As he finished with the customer before me and that customer got up to pay I heard € 15 being mentioned, and thinking to myself a bit pricy, but I’ll wait and see what I get for that.
So I got up and the barber invited me to sit ‘In the Chair’ (this shop has four barber chairs), and the barber prepared me in the chair before he started and asked me what way I wanted me hair cut, which I answered. What happened next I did not expect and totally took me by surprise and relaxed at the same time. The Barber started with a head massage and rubbed some type of gel substance through my hair. I felt I was in the hands of an Artist who was about to start on his great master piece. The massage went on for two to three minutes before he started to cut and the way he cut brought back memories as a young lad in a similar chair in the 80’s, with the tilt of the head to the right, then to the left and then forward. I was so relaxed by this experience I had a snooze only to be woken up again by another head massage when the barber was near completion. I was asked if I wanted a hot face cloth to wipe the excess hair clippings from my face, neck and ears which I accepted. In all my life going to barbers over the years I have never been treated with such high quality customer service and was quite happy to part with € 15 for the experience. I hope next time I might avail of a hot towel experience. So five thumbs up for me and strong recommendations for all you guys that live in the local area and all the gals to treat their partners/​husbands too.
